Embed an infographic report from Community or Business Analyst into a website through ArcGIS Dashboards

Summary

Infographic reports enhance key indicator visualization for sites in the form of charts, graphics, tables, images, and texts. Sharing infographic reports on websites provides easy access and promotes better information dissemination to the public. Infographic reports created from ArcGIS Community Analyst or ArcGIS Business Analyst Web App can be shared on websites using HTML with the <iframe> tag embedded. The best method to achieve this is to create a dashboard with the preferred infographic report and embed the <iframe> HTML code of the dashboard into the website. This article provides the steps to embed an infographic report from Community Analyst or Business Analyst Web App into the website through ArcGIS Dashboards.

Procedure

1. Create a dashboard for the preferred infographic report. Refer to and apply Steps 1 through 8 in ArcGIS Community Analyst: Create a dashboard, or ArcGIS Business Analyst: Create a dashboard.
2. Access the dashboard created in ArcGIS Online.
   1. Log in to ArcGIS Online.
   2. Click Content > My Content.
   3. On the My Content tab, under Folders, click CA - My Maps to access the Community Analyst dashboard, or BA - My Maps to access the Business Analyst Web App dashboard.
3. Embed the dashboard created into the website. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Embed an app for instructions and more information.
