Edit the numeric format of a field with dynamic text in the reports in ArcGIS Pro

Summary

In ArcGIS Pro, reports can be generated to share a well-formatted and multipage representation of users’ data. Reports are often generated on a regular basis, and in some cases, information can be added or edited in the reports. In this article, a dynamic text field named Assessed Value is edited to include a currency format in the report.

Procedure

1. In ArcGIS Pro, open the report.
2. Click the desired field value, and right-click to select Properties.

Note:
Alternatively, expand the report subsection in the Contents pane, click the desired text element and right-click Properties to open the Element pane.

3. In the Element pane, click Text. Click the Options tab.
4. Under Options, expand Text if needed, and click Tag View . Click field-value.

Note:
Alternatively, click Text View  to edit the dynamic text. Refer to ArGIS Pro: Dynamic text tags for more information.

5. In the Update Field Value window, click the drop-down arrow for Number Format and select Currency.
6. Click OK and export the report.
