Edit the display name for a table element in ArcGIS Dashboards

Summary

A table can be added as an element into ArcGIS Dashboards. The display name of the table follows the field name selected for the 'Category field' section of the element. The table name can be edited to be a custom name desired by the user. The following example displays the 'CATEGORY' field display name changed to 'Cat'.

The article describes how to edit the display name for the table when adding the table as element or for an existing element in ArcGIS Dashboards.

Procedure

When adding the table as an element

  1. Click the Add element button The Add element button.
  2. Select the frame to insert the table element and select the Table element.

  1. Select the layers from the map.
  2. In the Table window, click the Data tab and select the category field.
  3. In the Table window, click the Header tab. In the Label override section, edit the Label text box.

  1. Click Done. The table element display name is edited.

  1. Hover over the ellipses on the element and click the Configure button.

  3. Click Done. The table element display name is edited.
