Display coded value domains and subtype codes in ArcGIS Pro

Summary

In ArcGIS Pro, coded value domain and subtype descriptions are displayed by default in the attribute table. However, in some instances, the coded value domain and subtype codes need to be displayed in the attribute table for data management, better readability, and analyzing numerical data.

This article provides the workflow to display the coded value domain and the subtype codes. In this example, the Ownership and Category fields display the coded value and subtype descriptions respectively.

Procedure

  1. Open the ArcGIS Pro project.
  2. In the Contents pane, right-click the feature layer and click Attribute Table.
  3. Click the Menu Menu button icon button in the attribute table.
  4. Uncheck the Show domain and subtype descriptions option.
Note: 
Unchecking the Show domain and subtype descriptions option only applies to the attribute table of the selected feature layer.
