Disable the Show Item Details option in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder

Summary

When hosted feature layers in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder contain sensitive information, it is necessary to disable the Show Item Details option to prevent others from viewing or editing data on the item page in ArcGIS Online. This article describes how to disable the Show Item Details option in the Layer List widget in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder. 

Note:
When the ArcGIS Web AppBuilder app is created, the Layer List widget is added and the Show Item Details option is enabled by default.

Procedure

1. Log in to ArcGIS Online, click Content > My Contents.
2. Browse to the desired ArcGIS Web AppBuilder app, click More Options , and select Edit Application. 
3. In ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, on the Widget tab, click the Set the widgets in this controller option. 
4. In the Widgets pane, hover over the Layer List widget, and configure the Layer List widget. 
5. In the Configure Layer List window, under Choose which actions will be shown on the layer context menu, uncheck the Description / Show item details / Download check box, and click OK.
