Create a DXF in AutoCAD

Steps to export a DWG to a DXF for importing into various ESRI products.

Procedure

1. In AutoCAD, click FILE > EXPORT.
2. Select the Save as Type dropdown menu from the EXPORT DATA window.
3. Select AutoCAD14 dxf (*.dxf).
4. Select a location and name for your file.
5. Click SAVE.
