Convert a multipatch surface into a TIN

Summary

Instructions provided show the steps to convert a multipatch surface to a TIN (or other surface type).

Procedure

1. Open the Feature Vertices to Points tool and use the multipatch feature as the input to create a point feature class.
   
   

   Note:
   The output point features have Z-values stored in their geometry.

   
   
2. Open the Create TIN tool and use these points as the Input Feature Class. Use Shape.Z as the Height Field, and click OK to complete the conversion.
