Connect to Autodesk Forma (cloud) from ArcGIS Pro

Summary

This article describes the steps required to establish a connection to Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) from ArcGIS Pro.

Before establishing a connection, ensure that the following prerequisites are met:

• Have an Autodesk Forma account with access to the desired projects.
• The ArcGIS Pro application must be installed and authorized in Autodesk Forma cloud.

Procedure

1. In ArcGIS Pro, on the Insert tab, click Connections.
2. Select New BIM Cloud Connection.

3. In the Add BIM Connection dialog box, type a name for the new connection, and click OK.

4. Sign in to the Autodesk account when prompted.

5. Review the requested permissions and click Allow to authorize the application.

6. The new BIM Cloud Connection appears in the Catalog pane.
7. Expand the connection to access the available Autodesk Forma projects and hosted files.
