Configure the NUMONICS NUMO 2000 and 2200, 16 and 4-button digitizers

Summary

Steps to configure a NUMONICS 2000 or 2200 digitizer with 16 or 4-button puck.

Summary

1. Make sure the digitizer is connected to the correct serial port.

2. Make sure the dip switches are set like this:

SWA		SWB		SWC
1 off 1 off 1 on
2 on 2 off 2 off
3 on 3 on 3 off
4 on 4 on 4 off
5 off 5 on
6 on 6 off
7 on 7 on
8 on 8 on

3. Use the following parameters in the CON-DIG setup:

DIGFORM NUMO200P
PORT (port #)
BAUD 9600
PARITY N
DATA BITS 7
STOP BITS 1

4. Edit the NUMO2000 digform as follows and save it as NUMO200P:

For a digitizer with a 4-button, follow steps 1 and 2. In steps 3 and 4, use NUMO2000 instead of NUMO200P.
