Configure ArcCatalog to recognize ArcInfo interchange files

Summary

By default, ArcCatalog does not list ArcInfo Interchange files (*.e00) in the catalog tree. You can configure ArcCatalog to recognize these files.

Procedure

1. Click Tools > Options.
2. Switch to the File Types tab.
3. Click the New Type button.
4. Type 'e00' in the File Extension text box.
   
   

   Note:
   For the file extension, make sure you are using the number zero.

   
   
5. Type 'ArcInfo coverage interchange file' in the Description of type text box.
