Change the relative dynamic text scale unit on ArcGIS Pro map layouts

In ArcGIS Pro, the dynamic text scale unit on a map layout can be edited by modifying the Dynamic Text settings. Procedure

  1. In the layout view, on the top ribbon, click the Insert tab.
  2. In the Graphics and Text group, click the Dynamic Text The Dynamic Text icon button.
  3. View the current scale unit under Relative Scale. In this example, the scale text shows the relative scale from inches to miles.

  1. Open the Element pane to view the properties of the text element.

  1. In the Format Text pane, under Options, expand Text and click Tag View The Tag View icon to view the dynamic text..
  2. Modify the text element as required. In this example, the 'mapUnits' value is changed to 'feet'.
