HOW TO

Change the My Toolboxes default location in ArcGIS 10

Last Published: April 25, 2020

Summary

Toolboxes are managed in either the Catalog window in ArcMap, the ArcToolbox window, or in ArcCatalog. Similar to Windows applications, such as Windows Explorer, the basic toolbox management functions such as create, delete, copy/paste, and rename behave as expected. For example, to rename a toolbox, right-click the toolbox and click Rename.

Instructions provided describe how to change the default location of the My Toolboxes folder in ArcGIS 10. At version 10 it is not possible to change the default location through the user interface. However, this change can be made in the ArcGIS registry.

Procedure
