HOW TO
When sharing the URL of ArcGIS Instant Apps, it is often necessary to change the locale of the app to cater to the user's preferred language. However, when many languages are required, changing the URL for each language can be inconvenient. The ArcGIS Instant Apps URL is formatted in such a way that the item ID is a parameter, and the locale is appended as an additional parameter, beginning with an ampersand ('&'). This differs from the ArcGIS Experience Builder format, where the item ID is part of the path rather than the end of the parameter, therefore the locale is appended as the first parameter of the query. Refer to ArcGIS Experience Builder: General parameters for more information. This article provides the steps to append the locale parameter to the ArcGIS Instant Apps URL for the preferred language.
Append the locale parameter to the ArcGIS Instant Apps URL
Add the two-letter ISO 639-1 language code of the preferred locale to the ArcGIS Instant Apps URL. Refer to the code block below for the URL format.
