Summary

In ArcGIS Instant Apps, the Zone Lookup template enables searching for an address to identify locations within a defined zone or region. However, there is no option to automatically zoom the map to a predefined scale when a search is performed. As a result, the map remains at the default extent, requiring manual zoom adjustment to view the address clearly.

The map can be configured to zoom to a specific scale when a location is searched, improving visibility and reducing the need for manual navigation. This article outlines the workflow to automatically zoom to a location using the Zone Lookup template.

  1. Sign in to ArcGIS Instant Apps and create an app using the Zone Lookup template. Refer to ArcGIS Instant Apps: Explore apps for instructions.
