Align the Image and Text widgets on a scrolling page in ArcGIS Experience Builder

Summary

In ArcGIS Experience Builder, a scrolling page is used in an experience for a continuous flow of content, which can be beneficial for storytelling or presenting information in a linear manner. However, when using the Image and Text widgets in a Column widget on a scrolling page, the image may be misaligned, impacting the appearance of the experience after publishing, as shown in the image below.

Use any of the workflows provided to align the Image and Text widgets in a Column widget on the scrolling page in ArcGIS Experience Builder.

Procedure

Set the Content width to Custom

  1. Open the ArcGIS Experience Builder experience and navigate to the Page panel.
  2. Select the desired page to display the page configuration settings.
  3. Navigate to Content width and select Custom.
  4. Click Save to save the experience.

Set the Position of the Image widget to Fill

  1. Open the ArcGIS Experience Builder experience and click the Image widget on the canvas.
  2. In the Image panel, under Content, navigate to Position.
  3. In the drop-down menu, select Fill.
  4. Click Save to save the experience.
