Summary

In ArcGIS Instant Apps, map layer transparency can be adjusted when an app is created. Modifying the transparency improves visual clarity when multiple datasets overlap, and reduces the visual dominance of certain features so other information remain equally visible. This functionality is currently only available for the Atlas template in ArcGIS Instant Apps.

Procedure

  1. In ArcGIS Instant Apps, under Create, select the Atlas template by clicking Choose.
  2. In the Create app - Atlas panel, specify a title for the app.
  3. In the toolbar, ensure Express mode is toggled on.
