Add custom fonts to ArcGIS Pro

In some instances, a custom font is needed for modifying labels or text elements on the map layout in ArcGIS Pro. This article describes how to manually add custom fonts to ArcGIS Pro,

Procedure

  1. Close ArcGIS Pro.
  2. Download and install a font file to the desktop. Refer to Microsoft: Add a font for instructions.
  3. To ensure ArcGIS Pro identifies the new installed font, start ArGIS Pro.
  4. In the navigation pane, Click Settings > Options.
  5. In the Options window, click Text and Graphics.
  6. Under Default font, select the Font name drop-down, and confirm that the new font is on the list.
