Frequently asked question

How often should I save my edits when editing a personal geodatabase?

Last Published: April 25, 2020

Answer

To allow for undo/redo capability, some of the edits you make must be held in memory. If you are performing edit operations that affect a large number of features, this may slow down your edit session. You should save edits regularly when editing a personal geodatabase to avoid this.
