Frequently asked question

How do I specify a null value for fields with coded value domains in the Attribute Inspector?

Last Published: April 25, 2020

Answer

Fields that have coded value domains associated with them are displayed in the Attribute Inspector as a dropdown list of valid values. Fields that allow null values, will contain a <Null> entry in that dropdown list. To set the field's value to null, select the <Null> entry from the dropdown domain value list.
