How do I make ArcEdit stop 'beeping' when I save edits?
Answer
The 'beep' sound given by ArcEdit when the SAVE command is issued can be turned off in Windows XP, with the following comand at a DOS prompt:Code:
net stop beep
Any beeps issued by ArcInfo workstation are silenced.
To turn the beep service back on, issue the following command:
