Graphics Server Error when printing charts and/or graphs

Description

When printing a chart or graph in ArcMap, the following error may occur:

"Graphics Server: GSW32.exe Application Error".

Cause

'Microsoft Office Document Image Writer' is set as the default printer.

Workaround

1. Go to Start > Settings > Printers.
2. Right-click to select a printer other than the 'Microsoft Office Document Image Writer' in the list.
3. Select 'Set as Default Printer'. Close dialog box.
