PROBLEM

Geocoding in a web application defaults to the World Geocoding Service despite setting a custom geocoder

Last Published: April 26, 2020

Description

A custom geocoder can be set in place of the World Geocoding Service for any web mapping application in ArcGIS Online.

In some cases, setting the custom geocoder as the default and removing other geocoders from the list of available geocoders still results in the web application defaulting to the World Geocoding Service.
