- ArcGIS Pro 2.9.x are the last releases that support the Standardize Addresses geoprocessing tool. At the ArcGIS Pro 3.0 release, models and scripts that use the Standardize Addresses tool must be updated to use the Split Address Into Components.
- Esri announced the deprecation of the Create Address Locator tool with the ArcGIS Pro 2.6 release. ArcGIS Pro 2.9.x are the last releases that support the Create Address Locator geoprocessing tool. At the ArcGIS Pro 3.0 release, models and scripts that use the Standardize Addresses tool must be updated to use the Create Locator geoprocessing tool. ArcGIS Pro 2.9.x are also the last releases of Pro where locators created with the Create Address Locator geoprocessing tool are supported locally in Pro. Locators published to versions of ArcGIS Enterprise that support these locators will continue to work.
- Esri first announced the deprecation of support for locators created with the Create Address Locator tool in the ArcGIS 10.8.1 release. Further to this, ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 is the last release that supports locators created with the Create Address Locator geoprocessing tool. The release of ArcGIS Enterprise 11 no longer allows the publishing of locators created with this tool. Esri recommends all customers prepare for this change by building their locators with the Create Locator tool found in ArcGIS Pro 2.3 and later.
Recommendation
Upgrade to newer releases of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise to use the Split Address Into Components tool.
