Customers with pre-existing licenses and registration numbers can use them when installing ArcGIS Desktop Beta 9.4. The following are compatible with ArcGIS Desktop 9.4 installation:

- ArcGIS Desktop 9.x concurrent-use license files
- ArcGIS Desktop version 9.3 and 9.3.1 single-use registration numbers
- ArcGIS Server registration numbers

In cases where no pre-existing software license or registration numbers exist, license files, and registration numbers can be obtained from ESRI via a license file request form on the ArcGIS Desktop 9.4 Beta Web Site.
