Does the ArcGIS Enterprise portal support joins and relates?

Yes, the ArcGIS Enterprise portal supports joins and relates. To join features, use the Join Features analysis tool in Map Viewer, which creates a new layer with appended attributes based on a shared field or spatial relationship. Refer to Portal for ArcGIS: Join Features for more information.

Follow the steps below to use the Join Features tool:

  1. Log in to the ArcGIS Enterprise portal.
  2. Open the web map in Map Viewer.
  3. Click the Analysis tab.
  4. In the Analysis pane, click Tools and select Join Features under Summarize data.

In contrast, layers with related records show linked columns on the right side of the attribute table and open the related records in a separate table view.
