Failed to create Territory Design Solution

Error Message

The following error may be encountered while creating territory solutions:
"Failed to create Territory Design Solution!"

Cause

As of Business Analyst 10 SP2, index files are calculated on-the-fly, at the time of selecting alignment layers (a one-time process). For Windows 7 machines this requires additional permissions.

Solution or Workaround

1. Browse to \Business Analyst\Data folder at C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.0\Business Analyst.
   
   
2. Right-click the Data folder and click Properties. Add the user's account to the Security > Permissions to get full control of the folder.
