Error Message

The following error message displays during file-based repository creation for Business Analyst (BA) Server:

"Failed: Can't get security info for $:\BAServerRepository. Check your access rights."

Cause

This error occurs if the BA Server repository is being created with a FAT32 file system type on a Windows 2003 Server operating system. FAT32 uses a different security model than the NTFS file system.

Solution or Workaround

• Change the BA Server repository location to an NTFS file system.
