Esri Tapestry Segmentation Data
Description
Esri Tapestry Segmentation data is being retired in June 2026. This dataset is being removed because a new/better version of Tapestry (ArcGIS Tapestry) is available. The updated ArcGIS Tapestry dataset (released June 2025) replaces the older 2024 data and is fully available.

Load 2025 Esri data source and run data update notification dialog to migrate custom reports and infographics templates from Esri 2024. In the custom infographics and reports that used Esri Tapestry Segmentation variables, replace missing variables with ArcGIS Tapestry variables or the new Tapestry panel. Update saved lists containing deprecated 2024 Tapestry segmentation variables by replacing missing variables with 2025 ArcGIS Tapestry variables. Recreate custom variables that reference the 2024 Tapestry segmentation variables using 2025 ArcGIS Tapestry variables. |
| ArcGIS Business Analyst Mobile App | No action required. |
| ArcGIS Business Analyst Pro |
Replace any custom infographics and reports that use 2024 Tapestry segmentation variables or the previous Tapestry panel with 2025 ArcGIS Tapestry variables and new Tapestry panel. Recreate saved lists containing deprecated 2024 Tapestry segmentation variables. Rerun any analysis using 2024 Tapestry segmentation. For Target Marketing, users need to rerun analyses with updated data to recreate customer and market profiles and target groups. |
| ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise | Users should follow the same migration steps as outlined for the Business Analyst Web App to transition to 2025 ArcGIS Tapestry. |
| Business Analyst widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder | Users need to update any custom infographics that use 2024 Tapestry segmentation variables or the previous Tapestry panel with 2025 ArcGIS Tapestry variables and new Tapestry panel in Business Analyst Web App Advanced, and then confirm the updated infographics are visible in the Experience Builder app. |
