You cannot submit records to the survey since you do not have the Edit privilege

Error Message

In ArcGIS Survey123, when opening a survey form, the form is unable to be submitted and the following error message is returned:

Error:
You cannot submit records to the survey since you do not have the Edit privilege.

Cause

The user type assigned to the member does not have the privilege to submit the survey form in ArcGIS Survey123. Refer to ArcGIS Survey123: ArcGIS requirements for more information.

Solution or Workaround

Note:
Only an organization's default administrator or a member with administrative privileges can perform the following workflow.

Update the member's user type with the privilege to submit a survey form in ArcGIS Survey123. In ArcGIS Online, change the member’s Viewer user type to Creator, Editor, Mobile Worker, or GIS Professional. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Change user types for further instructions.
