Error Message

The ArcView setup routine returns this message:"Warning - Unable to locate the Help file Generator"ArcView starts without a problem, but the help system will not initialize.

Cause

A missing, outdated, or corrupt winhlp32.exe file.

Solution or Workaround



Make sure the winhlp32.exe file resides on you machine. If it does, try replacing it with a copy from another machine.
