Error: The Server Encountered an Internal Error (1021: Token Has expired.) That Prevented

Error Message

The ArcWeb server throws the following error when a REST v2006 token is used with REST v2006.1:"The server encountered an internal error (1021: Token has expired.) that prevented it from fulfilling this request."

Cause

REST v2006 requests are automatically redirected to REST v2006.1, which is incompatible with v2006 tokens.

Solution or Workaround

Ensure that a REST v2006.1 token is being used. See REST v2006.1 authentication requests and parameters for more information.
