In some instances, when attempting to launch the ArcGIS Enterprise Patch Notification tool on an ArcGIS Server machine, the following error message is returned:

Cause

This error is returned when the vcruntime140.dll file is unavailable at either, or both of the following locations on the machine.

C:\Windows\System32

C:\Windows\sysWOW64
