Subscription has expired

Error Message

When trying to connect to ArcWeb Services using the ArcWeb Toolbar's Connect to ArcWeb Services menu item, the following Connection Error is returned:"Subscription has expired."

Note:
The ArcWeb Services product line has been retired. ESRI recommends that customers who wish to create Web applications or use services similar to those that were available in ArcWeb Services transition to the capabilities of ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Online.

Cause

ArcWeb Services is a subscriber-based service. Blocks of credits are purchased and are valid for a certain amount of time, typically a year. Once this time period has passed, trying to connect to ArcWeb Services from the ArcWeb Toolbar will return this error.
