Service failed to start <Map Service> Mixing of Editor Tracking time zones (Database and UTC) not allowed

Error Message

Attempting to start a map service containing feature classes with editor tracking enabled returns the following error message:

Service failed to start
<Map Service>
Mixing of Editor Tracking time zones (Database and UTC) not allowed.

Cause

The time zone set in the feature class with editor tracking enabled and the map service do not match.

Solution or Workaround

Use either one of the following solutions to resolve the issue.

Change the editor tracker time zone in ArcGIS Pro

Change the time zone set for the feature class with editor tracking enabled to match the time zone set for the map service in ArcGIS Pro. Refer to ArcGIS Pro: Enable and configure editor tracking for steps and more information.

Change the service time zone in ArcGIS Server

Alternatively, the time zone set for the map service can be changed to match the time zone set for the feature class with editor tracking enabled. Refer to How To: Set the UTC time field to follow a specific time zone for steps and more information.
