Error Message

When attempting to access an ArcGIS Experience Builder app from the Portal for ArcGIS Content page, the following error message is returned:

Sorry, you do not have permissions to access this application.

Additionally, attempting to edit or delete the app in Portal for ArcGIS fails.


The app is corrupted. This renders Portal for ArcGIS incapable of identifying the app.

Solution or Workaround

The following workarounds delete the app from the portal content directory.

As the corrupted app is inaccessible and unidentifiable in Portal for ArcGIS, manually delete the app in the portal content directory. Refer to the Solution or Workaround section of Error: Unable to delete item for instructions.

If the app is not deleted using the steps provided in the documentation, refer to Problem: Unable to delete a detached item in Portal for ArcGIS for an alternative.
