Error Message

This error occurs when panning and zooming in ARCEDIT or ARCPLOT:Object "" does not have windowed ancestor.

Cause

This is an HP-UX 11.0 CDE Windows Manager issue.

This error may also occur when adding new arcs in ARCEDIT, or in ArcTools > Edit Tools, using the "7) Square on/off" option by holding the Ctrl key and clicking the left mouse button. This error may occur under other circumstances as well.

Solution or Workaround

• You may use the '7' key on the keyboard if the error occurs when using the ARCEDIT ADD menu.
