Error Message
While using a Network Analyst Geoprocessing tool, the following error message may occur: "You do not have the necessary license"
Cause
The reason you get this message is because the Network Analyst extension may not be turned on.
Solution or Workaround
Turn on the extension within ArcMap and/or ArcCatalog by doing the following:- Click on Tools > Extensions.
- Check "Network Analyst".
- Close the Extensions dialog box.
