Layer is not in the webmap:<layername>

Error Message

When attempting to view the Information Lookup web application, the following error message is returned:

Layer is not in the webmap:[layername]

Cause

The error occurs because the Lookup Layer setting is not properly configured for the query operation in the Information Lookup application. For the Information Lookup application to work, at least one layer must be selected in the Lookup Layers parameter for the query operation.

Solution or Workaround

1. In the item details page of the Information Lookup application, click Configure App to open the configuration panel for the application.
2. Click the Lookup Layer tab.
3. Scroll down to the Lookup Layers parameter, and check the check box for the layer(s) to be queried. Select at least one layer.

4. Click Save.
