Error Message:
The following error message occured:
Error: 0193%1 is not a valid Windows application

Cause:

NT Services could not resolve the long file name in HKLM--> System-->
Current Control Set--> Services ESRI License Manger Image Path that
points to lmgrd.exe.

ESRI cannot guarantee results from incorrect modifications while following these instructions. Therefore, use caution and proceed at your own risk.


1.- Using the Registry editor, change the Image Path from a long file name to
an eight character DOS name.

2.- Open the registry editor from the Run dialog box or DOS command prompt by typing:

regedit

3.- Navigate to HKLM-->System-->Current Control Set--> Services ESRI License Manager.

4.- Double click on Image Path to bring up a string editor. The Image Path
reads: "C:\Progam Files\ESRI\License\lmgrd.exe". Change the Image Path to read "C:\Progra~1\ESRI\License\lmgrd.exe"

The ESRI License Manager will now start from services as well as bootup.
