Solution or Workaround

Summary

This error occurs at the end of installation process, or when double-clicking the PC ARC/INFO icons:

"Finished-REG.
Access Denied"

This also occurs with Novell Net 3.1.2.

Cause

A conflict with Novell Netware 3.1.2

Solution

In Windows 95, use the 'Client for NetWare networks' to access network instead of manually loading Novell ODI drivers in an AUTOEXEC.BAT file.

CONTROL PANEL > NETWORKS > ADD > CLIENT > NOVELL
