Error: FATAL ERROR GetOpenTileChannel: Could Not Create Tile

Error Message

CNVGRID produces this error:FATAL ERROR
GetOpenTileChannel : Could not create tile
Bailing out of CONVGRID
Could not create grid

Cause

When your current workspace directory path name contains spaces, any attempt at utilizing GRID commands or functions will produce a FATAL ERROR.

Solution or Workaround

Before navigating to your current workspace check the entire directory path name and remove any existing spaces.

For Example, if your path name is like this:

c:\my directory\my workspace

Change it to:

c:\mydirectory\myworkspace
