Error Message

Attempts to change the 'What data can viewers see?' option to 'All records in this survey' on the Collaboration tab in ArcGIS Survey123 fail, and return the following error message:

Cause

The editor tracking setting of the survey's hosted feature layer is disabled.

Solution or Workaround

To resolve the issue, enable editor tracking in the survey's hosted feature layer setting.

  1. Log in to ArcGIS Online.
  2. Navigate to Content > My Content > Survey-<Survey_Name>.
  3. In the survey folder, select the hosted feature layer of the survey.
  4. On the hosted feature layer item details page, click Settings.
  5. In the Feature Layer (hosted) section, under Editing, enable the Keep track of who created and last updated features option, as shown in the image below.

  1. Click Save.
