Error Message

In an ArcGIS Enterprise deployment, attempts to back up ArcGIS Server via the Web GIS Disaster Recovery (WebGISDR) tool in a command window fail, and return the following error message:

Cause

The ArcGIS Server jobs folder contains inactive jobs.

Solution or Workaround

Use the steps below to resolve the issue and run the WebGISDR tool successfully.

1. Log in to the machine hosting the ArcGIS Server jobs.
2. In the Windows search bar, search for and select File Explorer.
3. In the File Explorer window, navigate to the following path:

C:\arcgisserver\config-store\system\jobs

4. In the jobs folder, delete the inactive jobs.
5. In the Windows search bar, search for and select Services.
6. Right-click ArcGIS Server in the Services (Local) list and click Restart.
