Error in Filename

Error Message

This error occurs when setting the Geocode Data Path:"Error in Filename. Please verify that the correct path & filename are given."

Cause

The message happens when setting the path and the U.S. Address Finder CD-ROM is not in the CD drive.

Solution or Workaround

1. Make sure the U.S. Address Finder CD-ROM is in the CD drive and start Atlas.
2. Click File > Preferences and select the Directories tab.
   
3. Set the Geocode Data Path to the following:
   
   

   <cdrom_drive>:\  

   
   Be sure the letter of the CD drive is correct.
   
   

   Note:
   If you are geocoding by ZIP, it is not necessary to have the U.S. Address Finder CD-ROM loaded. Set the Geocode Data Path to the GEOCODE folder in AtlasGIS. This folder contains files that are accessed when Geocoding by ZIP.
