EDGEMATCH returns "CGI" message

Error Message

The command 'EDGEMATCH cover1 cover2' returns one of these error messages:

"Unable to to open CGI.CFG, the GSS configuration file.

GSS*CGI Lahey Fortran 90/Pharlap Extender Binding Version 1.00
Emekek GmbH Cologne(C) 1994-199
CGI error -3003. Run CON-CGI program
could not enter graphics mode."

"CGI error -190. Run CON-CGI program could not enter graphics mode."

Cause
The EDGEMATCH utility runs in full-screen DOS mode. To see graphics from PC ARC/INFO in this mode, you must have a video driver loaded by using the CON-CGI utility.

Use the graphics card that is explicity stated in the CON-CGI utility if you have it. Otherwise, use a generic graphic driver in the CON-CGI program, such as IBMVGA12.SYS or HRVGA.SYS (with the Everex Viewpoint option).

Also, ensure you have the following lines in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file on the PC's:
SET PATH=%PATH%;C:\ARCEXE\CMD
SET ARC=C:\ARCEXE
SET WKSP=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
SET WKSPDIR=C:\TEMPSET CGIPATH=C:\ARCEXE\CGI


Note:
Ensure you have a C:\TEMP\ directory existing on each of the PC's hard drive.
