Error Message

Attempting to open a workflow item in ArcGIS Workflow Manager in an ArcGIS Enterprise deployment returns the following error:

Error:   
Current user does not have privileges to view any application pages. Please contact your Workflow Manager Administrator.
The error, "Current user does not have privileges to view any application pages. Please contact your Workflow Manager Administrator is returned."

Cause

The member is not in the group in which the workflow item is shared with. Even if the member is a default administrator in ArcGIS Enterprise, the member must be a part of the workflow group. Privileges are assigned differently in ArcGIS Workflow Manager compared to general ArcGIS Enterprise privileges. For more information, refer to Workflow Manager Server: Users, groups, roles, and privileges.

Solution or Workaround

Invite the member to the group of the workflow item in Portal for ArcGIS. Refer to Portal for ArcGIS: Manage group membership and roles for further instructions. For Step 4, refer to the fourth option to invite members to the group. Click Invite members on the Overview or Members tab and select the member(s) to invite to the group.
