Error creating the MobileCache directory"

Error Message

When a storage card is used on a mobile device to store an ArcGIS Mobile project and mobile cache, the project opens with error:

"Error creating the MobileCache directory".

Cause

The mobile project folder structure needs to be created on the storage card for ArcGIS Mobile to read the mobile project .amp file and mobile cache folder.

Solution or Workaround

1. On the storage card, create a folder structure similar to the following:
   
   

   Code:
   My Documents\ArcGIS Mobile\(name of the project)\

   
   
2. Copy the .amp and the mobile cache folder to this location.
