Solution or Workaround
This error occurs while digitizing coordinates:COM ERROR 8
Cause
This is a framing error, most likely due to differences between the configuration of the digitizer's serial port and settings in the difgorm file.
Answer
Check the digitizer settings and the CON-DIG settings to make sure they are the same as per configuration notes for your digitizer.
Note:
This error is common with the Calcomp DrawingBoard III as it alters the default configuration settings.
