Error: Cannot Write Record - Disk Full? - Bad Record?

Summary

This error occurs when running BUFFER:

   Cannot write record. 
   Disk full?
   Bad record?
   Read only?

Cause

Disk space, corrupted data, or access permissions.

Solution

1. Make sure you have enough disk space. BUFFER requires about 10-15 times the coverage size for scratch processing

2. Check the integrity of your data.

3. Check DOS variables like SCRMAN. You need to have write access to the current workspace.
