Cannot project point in TIC file

Solution or Workaround

Summary

This message occurs when running the PROJECT utility, for the StatePlane projection, on an ANNOTATION cover:

Warning: By selecting STATEPLANE as a projection,
the datum will default to NAD27 if not specified.

Cannot project point in TIC file.

Cause

Bad coverage TIC values.

Solution

Delete all bad TIC values need:

1. Start TABLES

2. Open the TIC file

3. Select Modify Record

4. Change the TIC ID

5. Click WRITE at the top of the window

6. Quit TABLES

7. Redraw your coverage and the new TIC ID's will be displayed.
